Title Stand by me
Year 2026
Material Photographic prints, cardboard, glass, metal
Size 310 x 160 x 90 cm
Place ICA Cologne
The exhibition functions as an interplay of images, people, memories, and visions. Friendship and appreciation are central to this: the inclusion of works by esteemed artists creates a space for dialogue. The glass object ties in with the earlier works “Mommy” (2017) and “Terminator” (2018), both of which are based on a cinematic moment. The focus is on the process of translation—from film to sculpture, from positive to negative, from one material to another. In the combination of the glass object and the photographic background, different layers overlap, creating a unique setting that straddles the line between fiction and reality.
