“The feudal main axis of the Malkastenpark in Düsseldorf gets decorated with a shady piece of sadness in summer. Where the bourgeois once used to promenade, this year there are three oversized penny items: the legendary design of a standard grave vase has a sadly beautiful new appearance in Hermann's enlargement. The principle of bourgeoisie is buried in favor of a romantic twisted melancholy in the landscape of the Jacobigarten. ”(Markus Ambach MAP). A similar situation is the installation in front of Waldthausen Castle near Wiesbaden. The installation transforms the fascist, pseudo historical architecture into a cemetery. Finally, the objects become props in a film that was created together with filmmaker Gregory Mohr. “The interest in the choreographic staging in movies is particularly close to the park as a scenic choreography. In this context, the park plays a central role in UP as a poetically and narratively oriented variable between history and actuality.“ (Markus Ambach, MAP)
