The starting point for the sculpture is a photo of a “Don Carlos” performance at the theater. The scene shows a conflict between Don Carlos and his father King Phillip. While the father is very traditionally oriented, Don Carlos strives for new ideas. The space between the two actors is digitally reconstructed and cast from aluminum.
