Using tools from graphics, sculpture, installation and text, he explores fragments of diverse cultural processes and translates them into the context of visual art. His works combine analytical approaches from linguistics and philosophy with narrative elements from film, pop and digital culture. This results in ambiguous, humorous works at the intersection of art, theory and everyday life.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Hermann repeatedly incorporates other artistic positions into his arrangements, critically reflecting on questions of authorship and collective production. He is a member of the artist group N<i>U<\/i>ANS and has initiated numerous projects, exhibitions, and lectures in Germany and abroad.
